Ronald Draper Presents: NOTxNORMAL | Drugs in Black America

People of color in the United States of America have a shared experience that is seldom acknowledged within our individualized thinking spaces. Black has and will always be synonymous with strength.

Strength that often internalizes suffering because this is just the way things have always been, the way that you’ve been taught, the way that feels NORMAL. The real strength comes from liberating ourselves from this not-so-very-normal sense of normality. The hope is that this series of artwork sparks the necessary conversation to inspirre change.

Join Ronald Draper in his new reimagined Showroom. We look forward to seeing you there.

This event is free with RSVP.

Finding a job is hard, but finding a job while being a person of color is down right challenging for many of us.

The job search is different for people of color. The recent Fast Company article, This Is What It’s Like To Search For A Job As A Black Woman, explored the challenges black women face while looking for jobs. Dive deeper into the conversation of what it’s like to job search and navigate Corporate America as a person of color. We’ll explore topics on cultural fit, salary, the notion of “working twice as hard and being twice as good” and unconventional ways to get the job you want. You’ll leave with advice and tactics to navigating the job search and making it work for you in 2018 and beyond.

Join this impactful discussion moderated by Minda Harts, founder of The Memo and nibble on some pizza provided by &Pizza.
